Senior AI Cloud Architect

The Opportunity Are you passionate about designing and building the future of AI-driven applications? We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior AI Cloud Architect to lead our Generative AI initiatives. This is a critical role where you will have the autonomy to architect, build, and scale our next generation of AI solutions on AWS. You will be the go-to expert for our engineering teams, establishing best practices and guiding the implementation of sophisticated, agentic AI workflows across our core product suite, including our Xytech, Studio +, and Origin platforms. Responsibilities • Design and implement scalable and secure architectures on AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, among others). • Lead the technical design and integration of Generative AI capabilities into Fabric’s products. • Develop proofs of concept and production-ready solutions using AWS AI/ML tools (SageMaker, Bedrock, etc.). • Define architecture standards and best practices in collaboration with technical and product teams. • Mentor other engineers and contribute to the team’s overall technical growth. • Evaluate new technologies in the AI/ML and GenAI space to drive continuous innovation. Required Qualifications & Skills • Proven hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies (e.g., LLMs, RAG, agentic systems, LangChain, or similar frameworks). • 4+ years of experience in software engineering or cloud architecture. • At least 2 years of practical experience designing and implementing AWS-based solutions. • Strong proficiency in Python. • Experience with AWS AI/ML services (SageMaker, Bedrock, or similar). • Deep understanding of architecture principles, scalability, and automation. • Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written). • Proactive, curious, and collaborative mindset. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with MLOps or data engineering tools (Glue, Kinesis). • AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect – Professional or Machine Learning Specialty). • Experience leading distributed or international teams. Senior Full-Stack Engineer (React Native / Node.js

Project Scope You’ll play a key role in developing the MVP — with a strong focus on reviewing the existing codebase, providing a technical assessment, and building a plan for the chat UI layer to integrate seamlessly with what’s already built. You’ll also lead the development of a recipe ingredient normalization system, turning free-form recipe text into structured, shoppable data. This is a high-impact, short-term engagement (three months) working directly with the founder. Key Responsibilities • Review the current codebase and provide a clear technical diagnosis. • Build a structured implementation plan for the chat UI layer on top of the existing app. • Develop and maintain the React Native mobile app with TypeScript. • Build and integrate AI chat functionality (OpenAI / Gemini) with backend tools (pantry, meal planner, cart). • Create a chat UI with streaming responses and interactive cards linked to core app views. • Implement backend logic with Node.js/TypeScript or Python on Google Cloud Run. • Design and implement a recipe normalization pipeline:   o Parse human-written ingredients and map them to canonical terms.   o Handle synonyms, regional names, prep/unit conversions.   o Map ingredients to real grocery SKUs with confidence scoring. • Sync data between chat actions and app state (pantry, cart, planner). • Set up and optimize CI/CD pipelines, staging, and production environments. • Implement analytics and crash reporting tools. Tech Stack • Frontend: React Native (TypeScript), React Navigation • Backend: Node.js / TypeScript or Python on Google Cloud Run • Database: PostgreSQL on Google Cloud SQL • Auth: Firebase Authentication • AI: OpenAI API / Google Gemini • Infra: Google Cloud Platform (GCS, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL) Ideal Profile • 5+ years of professional software development experience. • Strong React Native + TypeScript skills. • Solid Node.js or Python backend experience. • Experience integrating AI APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, or similar). • Proven experience with data parsing, normalization, or NLP pipelines. • Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments. • Excellent communication and ownership mindset. • Bonus: CI/CD, GCP, analytics, or crash reporting experience.

El candidato ideal tendrá experiencia práctica y comprobable en el ciclo de vida completo de modelos de ML, desde la experimentación hasta su puesta en producción y monitoreo continuo. Tus responsabilidades: Diseñar, desarrollar, entrenar y validar modelos predictivos y prescriptivos (Clasificación, Regresión, Series Temporales, etc.) para resolver desafíos de negocio. Ser el responsable del despliegue exitoso de modelos de Machine Learning en entornos de producción. Implementar y mantener pipelines de MLOps para el monitoreo del rendimiento de los modelos Realizar análisis exploratorios profundos y feature engineering para preparar los datos y optimizar la precisión de los algoritmos. Colaborar con ingenieros de datos y software para integrar los modelos a través de APIs y sistemas de negocio. Comunicar hallazgos técnicos, resultados de pruebas A/B y recomendaciones estratégicas a líderes de negocio. Habilidades indispensables: Mínimo 2+ años de experiencia llevando modelos de Machine Learning a producción y gestionando su ciclo de vida. Dominio avanzado de Python y librerías clave de ML (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch). Experiencia sólida en SQL para manipulación y extracción de datos en entornos de Big Data. Conocimiento práctico en el uso de servicios de Machine Learning en plataformas Cloud (ej. GCP Vertex AI, AWS Sagemaker o Azure ML). Profunda comprensión de técnicas de validación de modelos, métricas de rendimiento y mitigación de sesgos. Fuertes habilidades de comunicación para traducir modelos complejos a insights de negocio claros. Habilidades deseables: Experiencia con herramientas de MLOps (MLflow, Kubeflow). Conocimiento en tecnologías de Big Data (ej. Apache Spark). Experiencia en el diseño de experimentos (A/B testing) para medir la incrementalidad de los modelos. Certificación en Data Science o Machine Learning de alguna plataforma Cloud.
